Microblading
The semi-permanent secret to faking fuller eyebrows that look totally natural, microblading is the hassle-free solution to spending hours pencilling in your eyebrows only to get the shape so completely wrong.
Microblading is a technique using a super-fine pen (technically, a bundle of 18 needles) to deposit pigment into skin. The tip is so fine, in fact, that it can create hair strokes that look legit. And the needles reach only into the superficial layers of the skin, which is what makes the method semi-permanent (versus permanent, like traditional cosmetic tattoos).
Best for: Anyone who wants a natural brow look that lasts.

Microshading
Instead of the hair stroke typical with microblading and microfeathering, microshading employs a stippling method, which uses repetitive dots of pigment. The overall effect more closely resembles the sort of brow you'd find on any given Instagram influencer.
Best for: Anyone who wants brows to look more "done" (i.e. thick and filled in).
Powdered Ombré
A newer and more advanced technique, Powdered Ombré (also known as powder, mist, microshading, ombré shading, or stardust brows) results in a powdery look with a faded front and a crisp tail, resembling the look of makeup.
Best for: Someone who has a full amount of hair and has their full shape, so they don't need the additional texture that microblading gives. They simply want to have their brows filled in with makeup and not have to fill them in every day and a guide for shaping.
